Bharat Skill and Skill Bharat Portal is a repository of skills based courses, where most follow the  course. Currently, e-learning videos for PP industries like Carpenter, Electrician, Plumber etc. are available in Bharat Skills Portal.

2. eSkillIndia – https://eskillindia.org/


Escilindia, a multilingual portal, offers more than 400 courses in about 10 regional languages. The content on these portals is collected by various knowledge and content partners.


3. NASSCOM – Future skills – http://futureskills.nasscom.in/


Nasscom Future Skills Portal is  portal where students can learn future skills. It is an industry-based learning ecosystem that aims to bring 20 million professional and potential employes and students back into the industry over a five-year period.


4. Skillsbuild – http://skillsbuild.org/

With ever-evolving technology, new job role are also emerging that require new skill to work and make a difference in the world of work. Portals such as  Build offer soft skill training courses on innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, client engagement, etc.

TCS Ion is a digital portal that offer a wide variety of courses spread across different field. Collaborate with various institutions  provide these courses. To enable virtual training and job information for the people of the  Ecosystem, some recent collaborations have taken place with .



The following four portals provide higher education courses such as graduate, postgraduate and research courses.

6. Swayam – https://swayam.gov.in/



The portal itself operates on the principles of portal access, equity and quality. It has course from ninth standard to postgraduate. Although the courses offered by Swami are available free of cost to the learners, students who want to get self-certification will have to take the exam for a fee. Eligibility for the certificate will be announced on  course page and learners will receive the certificate only  these criteria are matched.

7. NPTEL – https://nptel.ac.in/



The  portal is mainly used by other IIT. Also compiled by  Madras. The definition of is recorded in the portal, which is then uploaded online to give give access to others.  has web and video courses in 23 branches, where learners get tangible results in the form of  certification for their effort.


8. Swayam Prabha – https://www.swayamprabha.gov.in/



Swayam Prabha is a group of 32 DTH channels that run high quality educational programs. This material is provided by NPTEL, IITs, UGC, CEC, IGNOU, NCERT and NIOS. Ninth class courses are available in subject including Arts, Science, Commerce, Performing Art, Sociology, Agriculture.




E-Patashala is an initiative of NCERT, which has audios, videos, flipbooks, etc. available in Hindi, English and Urdu. The portal and mobile has a total of 3886 sources and 504 e-textbooks.


10. Diksha – https://diksha.gov.in/



The National Teacher Platform (NTP), also known as "initiation", is designed to manage educational resources (OER) and open devices for teachers in school, teacher education institutions. The platform provides resources such as lesson plan, concept videos, worksheet, maps in the curriculum.


Most of these portal have a combination of free and paid courses. Information about the certificate is provided on the individual course page and varies depending on  course. Also, most portal are mobile-enabled, which mean they have an application that student or teachers can use  their mobile phones.
