Electricity tariff relief: State government announces reduction in power tariff by 19 paise per unit

Electricity tariff relief: State government announces reduction in power tariff by 19 paise per unit, will benefit 1.40 crore power consumers in the state.

Consumers will get relief of Rs 356 crore in three months: Energy Minister Saurabh Patel
Power consumers will directly benefit from lower power generation costs

The state government has announced a significant reduction in electricity prices.  State Energy Minister Saurabh Patel has announced a reduction of 19 paise per unit in electricity tariff.  He said the government has decided to reduce the fuel surcharge levied on consumers by state-owned power companies.  As a result, more than 1.40 crore customers in the state will get a three-month relief of Rs 356 crore.

The reduction will provide a relief of Rs 356 crore to power consumers
Energy Minister Saurabh Patel said that in addition to energy charge, fuel surcharge is levied on electricity bill from consumers consuming electricity. The collection of this fuel surcharge is based on the formula laid down by the Hon'ble Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission.  During the last quarter i.e. during the quarter of July 2020 to September 2020, all the four power distribution companies under Gujarat Energy Development Corporation Limited were levying fuel surcharge at the rate of Rs. 2.00 per unit.  Against this, a fuel surcharge of Rs 1.81 per unit has to be levied during the October-December-December 2020 period.  .  The reduction will provide a relief of Rs 356 crore to power consumers.

The state government has announced a reduction in fuel charges for the three months of October, November and December. The government announced a reduction of 19 paise per unit. Currently, the fuel surcharge is Rs 2 per unit. Which will now be 1 rupee and 81 paise. The state government's decision will benefit 14 million power consumers in the state to the tune of Rs 356 crore in three months.

Energy Minister Saurabhbhai Patel said that the state government led by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has taken various decisions in the interest of consumers so that the power consumers in the state get electricity at cheaper rates and the burden of power generation costs is not borne by the consumers. The state government has decided to reduce fuel surcharge from consumers by 12 paise per unit.

Relief in electricity bill with direct benefit
The main reason for the decline in fuel surcharge is that during this quarter, the state government has purchased gas at cheaper rates in the interest of consumers, and has produced gas-based power, which has reduced power generation costs, which the state government has decided to directly benefit.  This means that more than 1.40 crore consumers will get these benefits directly, which will reduce their electricity bills and reduce their bills, he added.

School opening news in Gujarat

school for students of Std. 9 to 12 after Diwali. In this webinar, the Minister of Education has given hints to open a school for students of Std. 9 to 12 after Diwali. No decision has been taken yet to open a school for Std. 1 to 8 students. Consideration is being given to start schools for students of Std. 6 to 8 in rural areas of the state. The Diwali vacation has also been shortened this year.

All sectors except school have been opened: Vice President of Gujarat Self Supporting School Board of Directors

Jatin Bharade, Vice President, Gujarat Swanirbhar School Board of Directors, said that schools have been started in 7 states in India. At that time, a webinar was organized with the Education Minister on when to start a school in Gujarat. Every sector has started and is adapting to the Corona situation. The biggest problem then is to stay inside the school but the school should be started keeping in view the situation. After Diwali vacation std. Opinions have come from all over the district that schools should be started for students of 9th to 12th standard. The Education Minister also took note of this opinion and indicated to start a school for studies from Std. 9 to 12 after Diwali. If the school has a large number of students, the students can be called to the school by dividing the students into four parts of 25-25 percent. If the school has a small number, 50 per cent students should be called and the school should be started.

School time can be made three or three and a half hours instead of five hours: Jatin Bharad

Jatin Bharade further said that there was another opinion that some students could be called on Monday, Wednesday and Friday while others could be called on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. At present, instead of five hours of school time, three or three and a half hours can be called within two or three shifts. Now students, parents and school administrators are tired. Now the situation is such that the school should start immediately. The government is also taking this matter very seriously. Unlock 5 is running, the school has increased by one and all other sectors have been opened.

Opinions will be taken from all the districts through webinars

Jatin Bharade further said that older students are physically and mentally alert and we can explain the seriousness to them. Teachers are also mentally prepared for how they should work. There are currently no decisions for 1st to 8th standard. Thus the std. No decision has been made for 9 to 10 either. This was just a webinar for taking everyone's suggestions. At the district level too, teachers, parents and officials will be consulted by Webinar next week. The government will decide to start the school from any date after Diwali only after everyone's opinion comes later.

Interviews for government jobs in 23 states and 8 union territories of the country will no longer be conducted

Interviews for government jobs in 23 states and 8 union territories of the country will no longer be conducted.

Interviews for government jobs in 23 of the country's 28 states and eight Union Territories, including the newly formed Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, have now been scrapped.  Union Minister Jitendra Singh gave this information.

Interviews in Group B and C closed from 2016

According to information provided by the Ministry of Personnel and Training, Singh said that the arrangement for interviews for Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C posts in the Central Government has been abolished since 2016.  He said that PM Modi had in 2015 talked of removing interviews from exams from Lalkilla and giving jobs on the basis of written exams.

Interview removal process completed

Singh said that on the advice of PM Modi, the personnel and training department has completed the process of removing the interview system from central government jobs within three months of considering the matter.  It has been implemented on January 1, 2016.

Interviews will not be held in 23 states and 8 union territories

He said that Gujarat and Maharashtra have accepted the rule very quickly.  So the other state showed reluctance to implement this soon.  However, now the system of not conducting interviews from the examinations of 23 states and 8 Union Territories has been adopted.

Interview for Group-B (non-gazetted) and Group-C posts in Central government jobs has been abolished in 23 states and eight Union Territories (UTs) so far -- an exercise that started with effect from January 1, 2016.

All the eight UTs of India, including newly created Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, are among the regions along with 23 out of the 28 states of the country have so far followed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call which he made from the rampart of the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, 2015.

It is among some of the path-breaking reforms brought by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), a statement from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said quoting Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

Singh recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had suggested in 2015 the abolition of interview and making job selection totally on the basis of written test, because "whenever an interview call was received by a candidate, his entire family would get disturbed with apprehension and anxiety".

On a quick follow-up to the Prime Minister's advice, the minister said, the DoPT undertook an expeditious exercise and within three months completed the entire process to announce abolition of interview for recruitment in Central government with effect from January 1, 2016.

However, Singh said that while some states like Maharashtra and Gujarat were quick to implement this rule, there were other states which were quite reluctant to abolish the conduct of interview for Central government jobs.

The job was messed up in interviews

The statement said that the system has proved to be very effective in removing the interview system to bring transparency in the recruitment process for candidates preparing for competitive examinations.  There were frequent allegations that interview marks were being manipulated on a large scale for these jobs.  And a large amount of cash was paid in return.

The central government has issued detailed guidelines for opening schools and colleges from October 15, but due to the rising number of corona cases in Gujarat, consideration is being given to start educational work only after Diwali, a high-level meeting chaired by the chief minister said.  , In which the government is not ready to have any discussion about primary schools at present.

The Gujarat government has also made it clear by banning the celebration of festivals from Navratri to Diwali due to Corona that if the celebrations have been stopped, the government does not want to make any effort to start a school-college, so it can start only after Diwali.

The central government has given permission to start schools and colleges in Unlock-5 in phases.  However, the final decision rests with the states.  According to sources in the state education department, considering the current situation in Corona, schools and colleges will not be started from October 15.  It is planned to open secondary-higher secondary and colleges only after Diwali vacation.  The final decision will be taken after considering various aspects of the matter and holding meetings with experts and the Gujarat government will also issue guidelines based on it.

According to sources, the opening of school-colleges was also discussed in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, especially in the village-small centers where online education is facing many hurdles, hence the discussion on opening schools in remote villages.

Sources in the education department said the matter was discussed with classes including school-administrators, who are also expressing their support to start schools only after Diwali.  In the first phase, higher secondary schools will be opened and the time will be kept very short.  The turn of secondary schools will be taken in the second phase and special vigilance will be provided for it.  There is no consideration of opening primary schools.  Elementary schools will reopen only after Corona is fully under control.

For doubts and understanding about education-curriculum in the guideline of Unlock-4 of Central Government.  Students from 9 to 12 were allowed to go to school.  The Gujarat government, however, avoided implementing it.  For the last few times, the government has been discussing with school administrators, academics, parents, etc. about starting educational work.

Right now many people are falling victim to mobile banking fraud, in minutes your account will be empty; Follow these 6 tips to avoid it.

Right now many people are falling victim to mobile banking fraud, in minutes your account will be empty;  Follow these 6 tips to avoid it.

The Covid-19 epidemic has connected people to the digital world, who have always lived far away.  That is, people who had little understanding of the digital platform are learning it.  However, many hackers are taking advantage of this vulnerability.  In fact, these days there are many cases of money being stolen from accounts on digital platforms.  A mistake made by the user empties their account.  In this case, if you also use banking apps, there are some things that you should always keep in mind ...

 1. Multi-factor authentication Feature

Single passwords are easy to crack, but the multi-factor authentication feature is not easy to crack.  In that case you should use this feature in banking apps.  This feature requires many things like fingerprint scanner, OTP, debit card number along with the password for the user to login.  Multi layers cannot be easily broken in such a situation.

 2. Use of NFC-embedded SIM card

An NFC-embedded SIM card is a SIM card that allows customers to securely download their credit card information to a Near Field Communication (NFC) SIM card.  With this option the consumer does not need to have their debit or credit card.  In such a situation there is no worry of losing or forgetting the card.  With the help of a card, a hacker can access your account.  In such a case, the possibility of such a thing also comes to an end.

3. End-to-end encryption

Digital transactions are growing rapidly these days.  Billions are being transacted all over the world in many ways like payment cards, merchants, card brands, bank cards.  The transaction is being monitored by a hacker.  In such cases, end-to-end encryption is a risk solution, as it guarantees to keep the data secure and strong.  It conducts security audits and penetration tests that take security majors to extra miles.

 4. Use of in-display fingerprint devices

Now most of the bank applications are also offering fingerprint security.  However, this feature is found in smartphones that have an in-display fingerprint scanner.  It receives various sets of signals such as IP address, location, time of day, device type, screen capture, browser, etc.  If this happens, you should also use a device that provides an in-display fingerprint scanner.

 5. Real time text and email alerts

You should also keep app notifications on, along with real-time text and email alerts related to your account.  So when there are any transactions related to your account, you get alerts related to it immediately.  If you do not receive the alert in real time, you should talk to the bank once.  It will alert you immediately to prevent bank account fraud.

 6. Check the source of the app

Many hackers these days create apps similar to Bank and put them on the App Store.  In such a case, if you have downloaded the wrong application in a hurry, the money will be lost from your account and the data of the phone will also be stolen.  Whenever you install an app in it, you should pay attention to many things like its developer, rating, review, etc.  Many users these days are making the mistake of installing the wrong app.

Submission to the Department of Education to declare the current academic year as zero year Fear: Children who do not have access to online education will remain weak in studies નથી Not only for working and rural parents.  October-November is Navratri and the government will also do educational work in schools in September. TV or online education will be inadequate for festivals like Diwali and Diwali vacation is also Navgujarat time.  In those circumstances, even if the government does not have the threat of corona in the school in Gandhinagar, it is likely that most of the schools in the state will have about four months to teach online before the new session.  Teaching on the other hand.  The way it is being taught online is not suitable for all children.  It teaches schools and especially children in rural areas to feel right in their own way.  The question of how much can be learned by the state government is not enough to provide online education on a TV channel. It is not conducive for children in rural areas with primary education being 2020-21 by some social organizations.  There is a demand to declare the rural academic year as zero year.  The working class was expensive for online education, with mass promotions being given at the primary level even in the year when the economic loss due to corona in the previous educational area was higher.  Even in this second year after that, in online education, of course, it is not possible to arrange regular phone and recharge.  This foundation is likely to remain raw for children who are weak in learning or who do not have access to online education even if 40 per cent of the course is completed in these circumstances.  Because of this, they may be at a disadvantage with the question of how much quality education they will receive in the future.  There is a fear that they will become weaker again through such incomplete studies.  Therefore, the government will have to pass this year's exam for the second year in a row. Primary children should be kept in the same standard.  It is possible that a step like mass promotion again may require the state education department to take the lead in social organization.  In those circumstances, the current year has been declared a zero year, according to a written submission, the threat of Corona is still in the submission to make the right decision.
