Now any Aadhaar card holder can be renamed only twice. Gender and date of birth can be modified only once. According to UIDAI, name changes will only be allowed twice throughout the lifetime. However, only one change will be made to Gender. The documentary evidence needs to be true to change the date of birth.



There is no change in the old terms

According to UIDAI, the previous terms of all other updates remain the same. No changes have been made to it. This order has been issued following the approval of the CEO of UIDAI.
